According to an article in the March 5, 2006 edition of the Star-Telegram, Fort Worth, TX, officers responded to reports of an armed suicidal man in his car and found a man armed with a .357 handgun. Witnesses told police that he was upset because of an argument with his ex-wife.
After more than seven hours, Fort Worth SWAT officers and hostage negotiators determined that the man had no intention of surrendering.
