Two Leading Biotech-Pharma Patent Lawyers Join King & Spalding

SILICON VALLEY, CA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2008) - King & Spalding, a leading international
law firm, continues to add top talent to its growing intellectual property
practice, hiring two new partners in the firm's Silicon Valley office,
Peter Dehlinger, Ph.D. and Judy M. Mohr, Ph.D.

Dehlinger has more than 27 years of patent experience, and is considered a
leader of the biotech-pharma bar in Silicon Valley. Dehlinger has a Ph.D.
in biophysics from Stanford University, and a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law
School. His expertise includes many areas of biotechnology and physics such
as molecular biology, pharmaceutical chemistry, drug delivery systems,
diagnostics, instrumentation, thin-film media, robotics, solid-state
devices, microfluidics and microfabrication.
Mohr has more than 15 years of experience in life sciences patent
procurement, strategic counseling, and portfolio management for emerging as
well as mature life science companies. Mohr has a Ph.D. in Chemical
Engineering from the University of Texas, and a J.D., cum laude, from Santa
Clara University School of Law. She has particular expertise in
therapeutics, molecular biology, immunology, proteomics, diagnostics, drug
delivery systems, liposomal technology, microarray technology, gas and
liquid separations, small molecules and materials science.

operation with the addition of Dehlinger, Mohr, the group expected to
follow them, and other recent relocations and additions.
