In his new role, Vertrees will lead Bell Microproducts' enterprise sales division in the United States, reporting directly to Jerry Kagele, the company's president of North American distribution.

Vertrees has more than two decades of experience in technology related fields, most recently with Hewlett Packard, where he served as vice president of sales, Americas systems integrators, outsourcers and service providers. Prior to being named vice president of sales for Hewlett Packard, Vertrees held the position of vice president and general manager, technology solutions partners for the company. Vertrees was previously with Compaq as vice president, channels at the time Compaq was acquired by Hewlett Packard, and before Compaq held similar positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. Vertrees holds a BS degree in marketing and management from Eastern Washington University.
