Unbelievable Fare Opportunities (UFOs) Found From $59 SFO to LAX and $139 LAX to JFK*

SAN FRANCISCO, July 29, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Virgin America, the California-based airline that is making flying good again, today announced an "out of this world" fare sale for travel to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Washington D.C., San Diego, and Seattle. To help mark its partnership with Virgin Galactic, the world's first commercial space-line, Virgin America is inviting guests to blast off to their favorite destination for fares that are truly out of this world.

Earlier this week, one of the newest additions to Virgin America's fleet -- an Airbus A320 named My Other Ride is a Spaceship -- brought guests to the Mojave Desert for the world premiere roll-out of the spaceship launch vehicle -- the WhiteKnightTwo (WK2). The two companies also kicked off the "Race for Space," in which Virgin America Elevate loyalty program members can compete to fly their way to a seat on a sub-orbital space flight.

Virgin America has one of the newest fleets in the U.S. with upscale, tech-savvy amenities that are reinventing domestic flying. With every seat offering a 9 inch video touch-screen and remote control/qwerty keyboard, with 25 movies, 3,000 MP3s, live TV, videogames, power outlets, seat-to-seat chat and the first on-demand in-flight menu system, Virgin America may have one of the most innovative in-flight experiences in the galaxy.
