Bill.com Hires Jeff Schultz as New VP of Marketing


PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - July 30, 2008) - Bill.com, Inc., a Software as a Service (SaaS) company that provides businesses on-demand accounts payable software, today announced Jeff Schultz as its new Vice President of Marketing. Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, selling, supporting, and developing innovative solutions for financial services and other industries.

Focused on alleviating the many frustrations traditionally experienced in the area of online bookkeeping and payables, Bill.com is easy-to-use, intuitive and helps save customers 50 - 80% of the time and money in managing their payables and business records online. In his new role, Jeff is responsible for managing all of Bill.com's marketing initiatives to drive awareness and adoption of the company's services including marketing strategy and positioning, product marketing, partnerships, digital/web initiatives, direct marketing, research, branding, public relations, and events.

Jeff most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Parlano, a leading provider of collaborative systems primarily for global financial services organizations, which was acquired by Microsoft after experiencing significant growth and market success. As Chief Marketing Officer for divine, inc., he directed all worldwide branding, product marketing and communications initiatives for a $600M portfolio of software and services offerings. At Red Brick Systems, Platinum Technology, and Abridean, Jeff held senior and executive marketing positions, where he launched new solutions for customer and financial analytics, web content and collaboration, financial compliance, and identity management. For the first nine years of his career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Jeff developed, supported and marketed software solutions that sped development of financial, accounting, commerce, and customer relationship systems for large enterprises in numerous industries. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
