eGames Makes Call for iPhone Development

PC Hit Burger Island Planned as First Title

LANGHORNE, Pa., Sept. 29, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Casual games developer and publisher eGames, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EGAM) announced today plans to develop multiple games for the iPhone(tm) platform. The company will lead off iPhone development with platform-specific versions of PC casual games hit Burger Island(r), followed by additional games based on eGames IP including arcade puzzler Puzzle City(r).

"With development efforts already in play for eGames titles across the PC, Nintendo DS and Wii, the iPhone represents a great opportunity to further leverage our internal properties, increase brand awareness, and diversify our product line," said Rich Siporin, eGames Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Nintendo DS and Wii versions of Burger Island are currently under development, scheduled for publication by Destineer Studios in late 2008 and early 2009, respectively. The game, among the top-selling casual games of 2007, follows the frantic culinary adventures of Patty Melton as she assumes control of a tropical island-based Beach Burger restaurant, grilling burgers, cooking fries, and blending special milkshakes for hungry customers with the help of quick-tempered waiter, Pierre and the mysterious recipe-selling Tiki Guy.

"We are excited to bring the Burger Island franchise to the iPhone, introducing its unique brand of burger-flipping fun to an audience hungry for quality games," said eGames Product Manager Greg Zesinger.
