Partnering with Racing for Our Heroes, a recognized non-profit organization supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of disabled, wounded, and amputee war zone veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan, Bell Micro has initiated a holiday greeting card campaign in which Bell Micro employees will craft and send holiday cards to veterans at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center.
Racing for Our Heroes was founded by former U.S. Marine and current American Le Mans racing driver Jason Carter in 2006. The organization aims to encourage and inspire our military heroes as they endure lengthy and difficult recovery and rehabilitation procedures. Bell Micro has previously sponsored Racing for Our Heroes groups at this year's Sebring, Petit le Mans and Laguna Seca events.

Wounded veterans can spend up to 36 months recovering from injuries in these medical facilities. "Family members can't be with them all of the time, so the holidays can be an especially lonely time for some of them. Holiday cards are a way to wish them well and let them know we care about them," said Carter. "We're letting these wounded warriors know that they are loved and appreciated, and that their service to our country is an unbelievable sacrifice."
