NASSAU, The Bahamas, Dec. 10, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Steiner Leisure Limited (Nasdaq:STNR) today announced that it has entered into an amendment to its agreement with Carnival Cruise Lines under which Steiner will be the exclusive provider of all spa and salon products and services on Carnival's new "Splendor" and "Dream" class ships during the agreement term.
The "Carnival Splendor" represents the debut of the "Cloud 9" spa concept, offering an unprecedented level of luxury to Carnival guests with amenities including thermal suites with heat therapy chambers, mud lounges, hydrotherapy pools, nail bars, and deluxe, all-inclusive couples' suites, each with a private bathroom and Jacuzzi. Among other new treatments are the Bamboo Massage and the Elemis Oxydermy Facial. For the first time on Carnival vessels, the "Carnival Splendor" offers private spa suites designed especially for spa-loving guests, with spa amenities and Elemis products in each cabin and direct access to the spa and fitness decks.
