Despatch Industries Hires New Process Development Manager


MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - January 21, 2009) - Despatch Industries, the leading process technology provider for the clean technology and solar industries, has hired Dr. Steve Kim as Process Development Manager for the Solar Business Unit. In his role, Dr. Kim is responsible for developing various aspects of Despatch's solar process technology through scientific research, advanced testing and experience leadership. Dr. Kim's focus will include the advancement and optimization of Despatch's solar manufacturing equipment and process technology.

Dr. Kim most recently served as the Manager of the Global Technical Service Group for Solar Products and Sr. Research Scientist at Ferro Corporation, a supplier of performance materials for solar manufacturers. He is the author of three patents and thirteen papers on solar cell products.
