Industry Veteran Pat Goepel Joins Patersons HR and Payroll Solutions as Chief Operating Officer

RALEIGH, NC and SALISBURY, UK--(Marketwire - February 4, 2009) - Patersons HR and Payroll Solutions, a leading global HR and payroll software and services business delivering expert solutions to clients in more than 160 countries, today announced that Pat Goepel has joined the company as Group Chief Operating Officer. Based in the Boston area, Goepel oversees Patersons' sales, implementation, and field operations, with a special focus on the company's growing presence in the Americas. As an investor, Goepel has also been appointed to Patersons' board of directors.

Most recently, Goepel was president of Fidelity HR Services in Marlborough, Mass. Before that, he was the CEO of Advantec and executive vice president, Ceridian, where his 11-year career spanned a wide range of responsibilities including sales, operations and mergers and acquisitions. Goepel grew up in Milwaukee, Wisc. and studied at Marquette University.
