Harsco Corporation Declares Regular Quarterly Cash Dividend

Company Marks 236th Consecutive Quarterly Cash Dividend to Harsco Stockholders; Dividends Paid Every Year Since 1939


HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 24, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of Harsco Corporation (NYSE:HSC) today declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share, or $0.80 per share on an annualized basis. The dividend is payable May 15, 2009 to stockholders of record as of April 15, 2009.

The dividend marks the Company's 236th consecutive quarterly cash dividend to stockholders and reflects the nearly 3 percent dividend rate increase announced by Harsco in December 2008. The Company has paid dividends every year since 1939.
