management (IPAM) -- today announced that Nash Finch, a Fortune 1000
company and one of the leading food distribution companies in the United
States, has deployed Infoblox appliances for highly secure, reliable and
manageable delivery of internal and external DNS and DHCP services.
Operating in more than 31 states and countries, Nash Finch runs a base of
retail supermarkets under the Econofoods®, Family Thrift Center®,
AVANZA®, Sun Mart®, and Family Fresh Market® trade names. Hundreds of
thousands of general consumers rely on Nash Finch for delivery of groceries
and household products.
With entities around the country relying on the Nash Finch network to
ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and services, the reliability
of the network and availability of its key applications is critical. This
cannot be achieved without a highly reliable and secure core network
services platform that offers nonstop uptime. Additionally, with limited IT
resources, the manageability of these essential network systems is a key
consideration.

Nash Finch's previous solution, legacy general-purpose servers and

unreliable system weekly, frequent FTP failures often coincided with DNS
issues and upgrades were incredibly inefficient.
