UHY Advisors FLVS Now Certified in Compliance With EU "Safe Harbor" Data Framework

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - March 24, 2009) - UHY Advisors FLVS, Inc. today announced that it has been certified by the European Union (EU) for its adherence to the Safe Harbor framework regarding data received from the EU about individuals entitled to privacy protection.

The Safe Harbor guidelines, which were developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission, are designed to make sure that personal information regarding European individuals is handled with great care and with built-in privacy standards. As a result of their certification, UHY Advisors FLVS may now collect and process data from the EU for the firm's corporate clients and their legal counsel.
