Omnicity Inks Multi-county Growth Deal With Swayzee


RUSHVILLE, Ind., May 4, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Omnicity Corp. (OTCBB:OMCY) has taken another giant step in expanding and enhancing its Midwestern fixed wireless network by signing an important agreement with Swayzee Telephone, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, Omnicity will attach to the fiber optic network in Swayzee, Indiana to deliver services to Miami, Cass, Howard, Huntington, Grant, Blackford and Jay counties in northeastern Indiana. "We continue rapidly forward with the execution of our business model by partnering with rural telephone companies across rural America such as Swayzee. Our agreement with Swayzee Telephone allows us to further fulfill our mission to provide Broadband services in some of the more challenging unserved and underserved areas of rural America," commented Dick Beltzhoover, CEO of Omnicity.

Omnicity plans to continue partnering with rural telephone companies to deliver Broadband Internet services to their customers. The partnership with Swayzee Telephone allows Omnicity to increase network coverage in a region that covers its existing partnerships with United REMC and Jay County Economic Development Corporation. President of Swayzee Telephone, Tim Miles, added, "Omnicity has vast experience in deploying, managing and maintaining wireless networks. Swayzee Telephone will focus on delivering services in Grant County with Omnicity, adding to their services in Miami, Cass, Howard, Huntington, Blackford and Jay counties."

Omnicity will connect into the Swayzee Telephone fiber optic network to provide additional connectivity to its existing 17,000 square mile wireless network delivering broadband services over a WiMax wireless network into more unserved and underserved areas of rural Indiana.
