Stewart Enterprises Refinances Senior Secured Credit Facility


NEW ORLEANS, June 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stewart Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq:STEI) announced today that it has refinanced its existing credit facility with a new $95.0 million senior secured three-year revolving credit facility. Prior to the transaction, the Company's credit facility was undrawn and scheduled to mature in November 2009. The credit facility also includes an increase option whereby the Company can request an increase in commitments of up to $30.0 million.
