The information in this notice has been published earlier as an integral part of Thin Film Electronic ASA's ("Thinfilm's") annual financial reporting for 2008. To fully comply with notification requirements, Thinfilm issues the information in this separate notice.
The audit opinion on the financial statements for 2008 under IFRS contained the following statement: "Without qualifying our opinion, we draw your attention to the uncertainty related to going concern. We refer to further information in the Board of Directors' Report and the notes to the Company's financial statements." The audit opinion is enclosed in pdf file. In the report, the Board of Directors stated that "Thinfilm will need to raise additional equity and/or working capital during the first half of 2009. It is not evident that the Company will be able to raise new funds and if so, at what terms and conditions."
Following the resolution of the annual financial statements for 2008 at the annual general meeting on 6 May 2009, Thinfilm completed a share issue whereby it raised NOK 12.1 million before expenses. On 8 June 2009, the Board resolved a private placement which caused the instant prospectus, whereby the Company raised another NOK 5.7 million. Thinfilm also refers to the prospectus dated 29 July 2009.
