Hooper Holmes Strengthens Health & Wellness Division

Appoints Director of Clinical Services, Launches Web Portal for Examiners

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Aug 06, 2009 -- Hooper Holmes (NYSE Amex:HH) today announced the appointment of Suzanne L. Cabrera, MN, RN as Director of Clinical Services for the Company's Health & Wellness division. Ms. Cabrera will oversee the training, skills development and quality of the screening services delivered by the division's nationwide network of examiners.

Ms. Cabrera holds a Master of Nursing degree from the University of Washington and is a Registered Nurse with an educational and professional background in occupational and community health. She has served as an Occupational Health Nurse at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle, WA, and as an Occupational Health Registered Nurse at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, CT.

"We are committed to the growth and development of the examiners who have made our division a success," said Chris Behling, President of Hooper Holmes Health and Wellness. "Suzanne will support our examiners' continued development, and provide the clinical foundation we need to serve our growing base of healthcare customers."

Hooper Holmes Health & Wellness also launched the first examiner scheduling web portal, making it possible for eligible examiners to easily schedule themselves for wellness screening events.

The Examiner Portal shows examiners upcoming screenings in their area, provides resources needed to complete the screenings (including paperwork, mapping capabilities, and screening guidelines), and allows examiners to track the screenings they have completed. The Portal also sends email alerts to examiners when new screenings are available in their area.

"Meeting examiners on their terms is a key to our continued success," said Chris Behling. "We're making it possible for examiners to control their schedules. The Portal also streamlines our process: over 20% of our screenings already have been self-scheduled by examiners, improving our efficiency and speed."

Examiners interested in utilizing the Portal or in becoming Hooper Holmes examiners can sign up at http://examiners.hooperholmes.com.
