Souza was born in Alameda, California in 1948 and was raised in Oakland and San Leandro, California. His occupation as a Teamster for thirty-seven years flavored his ability to find the right words to express the dimension of his experiences in life. He served both as a truck driver and then as an officer for Teamsters Local 432 in Oakland. Ken is now a school bus driver in Hayward, California. This is Ken's first book.
