New Sales Leader, AD+LIFE(TM) Mobile Lab, and Media Entertainment Solution Highlight Continued Progress in the High Growth Division


PHOENIX and NEW YORK, Oct. 13, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Modavox, Inc. (OTCBB:MDVX), Internet broadcasting pioneer and holder of several patented technologies, provides the following update on matters related to the growth of Augme Mobile, acquired in July 2009 and now operating as a fully integrated division of Modavox. The Augme Mobile division announces a new Managing Director & VP of Sales, a product showcase for consumer packaging companies through indirect channel partner Graphic Packaging International, and an innovative media entertainment product offering.

Modavox is pleased to announce that David Apple has joined as the new Managing Director and Vice President of Sales for the Augme Mobile division, bringing over ten years of direct multi-media sales and marketing strategy experience. Mr. Apple is primarily responsible for driving revenue, which includes maximizing client opportunities through indirect channel partnerships, exploring new vertical markets such as real estate, and growing the overall client base for the AD+LIFE(TM) platform.

Prior to joining Modavox, Mr. Apple served as Vice President of Business Development for a global interactive advertising agency, leading teams of creative, research, and technology professionals to develop interactive strategies for global clients. Previously, Mr. Apple held leadership positions within a major broadcast television network in New York City, where he led the development of multi-media sales packages for major advertisers serving over 30 national markets. Mr. Apple brings an understanding of interactive customer behaviors and tendencies that will further enable Augme Mobile to lead advertising agencies and top national brands into the modern world of consumer targeting applications and mobile communication technologies.

One of the top priorities of the newly integrated Augme Mobile division is to more aggressively market and showcase the capabilities of the AD+LIFE(TM) platform. Coming this Fall, Augme Mobile and Graphic Packaging International are teaming up to create The Mobile Lab complete mobile response experience in Bentonville, Arkansas -- home to Walmart. Brand champions will have the ability to physically experience the AD+LIFE(TM) mobile response platform, and learn how easy it is to incorporate into their existing marketing initiatives.
