The board of directors of Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") resolved on 6 January 2010 to grant 1,000,000 subscription rights ("SRs") to an employee. The grant was made under Thinfilm's 2009 Subscription Rights Incentive Plan as resolved at Thinfilm's annual general meeting on 6 May 2009.
The exercise price of the SRs is NOK 1.29 per share. 25 per cent of the SRs vest at each anniversary from the date of the grant. The SRs expire on 6 May 2014.
The grantee, Davor Sutija, has been recruited to become Executive Vice President of Thinfilm. He is responsible for business development and marketing of Thinfilm's unique printed polymer memories, which can now be delivered in large volumes from roll-to-roll printing processes. Dr. Sutija is based at the head office in Oslo. Dr. Sutija was formerly Senior Vice President of Product Marketing at FAST and he has also worked for SiNOR (now REC SiTech). Dr. Sutija holds a PhD from the University of California at Berkeley.
