"PQ announced a net loss available to common stockholders for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, of ($40,572,000), or ($0.66) per share, compared to fourth quarter 2008 net loss available to common stockholders of ($154,794,000), or ($3.14) per share. For the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company reported a net loss available to common shareholders of ($95,330,000), or ($1.72) per share.
"PQ announced this week that the Company's bank group has completed its semi-annual re-determination of its borrowing base under its credit facility. As a result, the Company's $100 million borrowing base has been reaffirmed. The Company currently has $10 million of borrowings outstanding on its revolving credit facility and is in compliance with the financial covenants under the credit facility. The next re-determination of the borrowing base is scheduled to occur before September 30, 2010."
