IRIS International Renews Supply Agreement With MedAssets

Second-Term Agreement is for Complete Automated Urinalysis Product Line


CHATSWORTH, Calif., April 26, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- IRIS International, Inc. (Nasdaq:IRIS), a leading manufacturer of urinalysis systems and consumables for use in hospitals and commercial laboratories worldwide, today announced that it has renewed a supply agreement for its full product line of automated and semi-automated urinalysis systems, related products, consumables and services agreements, with MedAssets Supply Chain Systems, one of the largest Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) serving healthcare providers nationwide. The new three-year contract is effective April 1, 2010.
