Olympic Steel, Inc. Announces Management Promotion


CLEVELAND, June 11, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Olympic Steel, Inc. (Nasdaq:ZEUS) today announced the promotion of Dan Springer to the position of General Manager for the company's Iowa division effective May 11, 2010.

Mr. Springer joined Olympic Steel in 1987 and has since held both division and corporate management positions in operations, production, and inventory control. His most recent appointment was as Operations Manager for the company's Winder, Georgia facility. He holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
