Terrible's Car Wash Puts the "Shine" on Military, Police and Firefighters This 4th of July With Free Car Washes

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - July 1, 2010) -  Terrible's Car Wash is putting the "shine" on local service men and women. This 4th of July, local members of the military, police and firefighters can get a free car wash. The offer, good at full serve and express locations in Reno and across southern Nevada, is Terrible's way of saying "Thank You!" to the men and women who protect and serve.

Speaking for the Herbst family, Troy Herbst said, "These men and women put their lives on the line for all of us every day. They don't ask for the spotlight, they don't ask for thanks, they just risk their lives for the good of the community. This is our way of saying 'thank you' by shining a spotlight on them and on their cars for the day."

In addition, everyone who gets an oil change on July 4th will receive a free car wash. Both offers are good from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 4th.

Terrible's Car Wash was the first "green" car wash in Nevada, and has been recognized by the Southern Nevada Water Authority for being a water-smart car wash. Terrible's recycles between 40 and 50 percent of its trash, approximately nine tons per week.
