WSFS Senior Manager Honored With Leadership Award From Junior Achievement


WILMINGTON, Del., July 6, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WSFS Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:WSFS), the parent company of WSFS Bank, today announced that Janis L. Julian, Senior Vice President of WSFS Trust & Wealth Management, was a recipient of the Junior Achievement (JA) of Delaware's Outstanding Leadership Award. She was one of 19 people to receive this annual award given to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the work and mission of Junior Achievement.

"As an extension of the classroom, JA is a stellar non-profit organization engaging students from all grades in lessons and activities to learn workplace and financial skills that will help prepare them as our leaders of tomorrow," said Ms. Julian. "I have been fortunate to represent WSFS and further its support of Junior Achievement over the years."

WSFS Bank has been a longtime supporter of Junior Achievement of Delaware. In the JA BizTown, a WSFS mock-branch provides an interactive environment where students learn about being on both sides of the teller counter.  Peggy H. Eddens, Executive Vice President of WSFS Human Capital Management serves on the Junior Achievement of Delaware Board of Directors and chairs the Volunteer Committee. In addition, many WSFS Associates have donated their time volunteering at JA.
