BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - August 4, 2010) - Perspective  Magazine -- the region's newest and most well-read online home and lifestyle publication -- is pleased to announce the summer issue is now available at www.perspectivenewengland.com

This inspiring issue is packed with many exciting features. From the sweeping Cape Cod Shore to an exotic Bahamian island, the summer issue offers readers a private tour of some New Englander's summer vacation getaways including homes in Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Truro, Antigua and Abaco. Filled with photos showcasing each of these gorgeous retreats, these articles truly embrace the idea that some people do, indeed, have their own heaven on earth.

Another topic covered in this summer issue is the evolution of the playroom -- highlighting two creative New England families who converted their basements into fantasy playrooms and the transformation of a "feel good" play space for children at the Ronald McDonald house in Brookline, Massachusetts.

This issue also marks the premiere of the "Treasures & Pleasures" section, which will highlight one of the "hidden treasure" neighborhoods of New England each issue. This summer focuses on Charles Street -- a jewel in the heart of Boston's Beacon Hill that boasts numerous boutiques, antique stores, and quaint cafes and restaurants. The area is also a treasure trove for fans of Georgian and Colonial architecture, with many churches and patrician homes lining the street.

Perspective's summer issue also welcomes esteemed writer Regina Cole, who authored the Truro, Abaco and Antigua vacation home stories. A nationally recognized writer, Regina's articles on architecture, interior design, and landscape design have appeared in numerous publications world-wide including web-based publications. She was a founding editor of Old-House Interiors and she regularly contributes to Design New England; Traditional Home; New England Home and Ocean Home Magazine, among others. Other contributing writers this issue include Linda Merrill, principal of Merrill Decorative Surroundings; John Kelsey, partner, Wilson Kelsey Design; and freelance lifestyle writer, Greg Miller.

Launched in the fall of 2009 to rave reviews, Perspective, published by Broadview Marketing, is the fastest growing on-line shelter and lifestyle magazine that covers New England.
