State Furlough Day Closes Lottery Offices

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - August 16, 2010) -  Due to statewide government furloughs, the Arizona Lottery's Phoenix and Tucson Offices will be closed on Friday, August 20. This closure requires all employees to take an unpaid furlough day.

Lottery retailers will still sell tickets and pay prizes as usual. Game drawings will also continue as scheduled. Check www.arizonalottery.com for winning numbers.

Prizes greater than $599 must be claimed at Lottery headquarters. Arizona Lottery offices will re-open at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 23. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause.

About the Arizona Lottery
