nSight Announces New Vice President of eLearning Services

Lee Stayton Helps Clients Improve Business Effectiveness With Creative eLearning Solutions

BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - August 24, 2010) -  nSight Inc., a content development and communication services firm, today announced that Lee Stayton, an expert in technology-enabled learning, has joined its expanding staff as vice president of eLearning Services.

Stayton brings more than 20 years of computer, interactive media, and elearning experience to nSight, most recently as an account executive at Verndale, and as an interactive strategist at LehmanMillet -- two of Boston's top interactive and advertising agencies. His early work focused on pioneering applications of decision support systems for executives in finance, logistics, and manufacturing.

"Elearning is a powerful tool that can help companies of all sizes stay competitive," said Thomas E. LeBlanc, president and CEO of nSight. "Lee's expertise in transforming learning needs into solutions with quantifiable results will help nSight develop new methods and innovations in eLearning. Lee's experience will magnify nSight's capacity for creatively redeploying elements of traditional learning into programs that incorporate computers and mobile communications technology."

Stayton co-founded Artmedialab International, an interactive firm that develops marketing and communication Web sites for businesses and sophisticated online education products for university-level physics and mathematics study. He also served as vice president of engineering at MediaMap, vice president of eProduct operations at LumaPath, production manager at VPG Integrated Media, and director of new media at Addison-Wesley Longman and Pearson Education, all in Massachusetts.

With an ever-expanding array of technology, content can be customized in myriad ways, from a structured educational seminar accessed online, to bite-sized chunks of time-sensitive information delivered via cell phone and other mobile devices. Stayton will work with senior executives to explore how they might improve their organization's effectiveness and competitiveness -- in all functional areas -- with a technology-based package that helps employees or customers acquire and use specific knowledge and skills.

A Montana native and a Navy veteran, Stayton earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Washington, Seattle, with a concentration in quantitative science. He relocated to Massachusetts in 1983, and lives in Ashland with his wife, Barbara Mindell, a freelance writer/editor and painter. Their son is a senior at Brown University.

Stayton is a member of The eLearning Guild, United States Distance Learning Association, and the International Society for Performance Improvement.
