(NYSE:ENH), a Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, today announced that Arturo E. Falcon has joined Endurance Worldwide Reinsurance to lead the expansion of Endurance's global reinsurance portfolio in the Latin American market, based in a new Endurance reinsurance office in Miami, Florida. Mr. Falcon has twenty-five years experience in reinsurance, having held a number of senior roles with oversight of underwriting, actuarial and claims operations, most recently managing Latin and South American offices for Odyssey America Reinsurance Company.

Mr. Falcon joins Endurance from Odyssey America Reinsurance Company (formerly TIG Reinsurance Company) where he was responsible for reinsurance underwriting in South America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean since 1997. Prior to that, he was Vice President of American Reinsurance Company and General Manager of American Reinsurance Company (Chile) S.A., responsible for South American technical and operational support from 1988 to 1997. Mr. Falcon holds a J.D. degree from Widener University and a B.A. degree from North Carolina Wesleyan College.
