Telular Appoints Betsy J. Bernard as Board Chairperson


CHICAGO, Feb. 3, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Telular Corporation (Nasdaq:WRLS), a leader in alarm and event monitoring solutions and services, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Ms. Betsy J. Bernard as Board Chairperson.

Ms. Bernard has served as a Director on Telular's Board since July 2007, and became Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee in February 2010. Previously, Ms. Bernard was President of AT&T, where she led more than 50,000 employees and prior to that she was Chief Executive Officer at AT&T Consumer. Ms. Bernard also serves as a Director at two other public companies: Principal Financial Group and Zimmer Group.

Ms. Bernard has replaced Mr. Larry Ford who has served as Board Chairperson since February 2009 and will continue to serve as a Director on Telular's Board.
