GelTech Solutions Expands Soil2O(TM) Dust Control Customer Base With Major New Client

JUPITER, Fla., March 15, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GelTech Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:GLTC), creators of FireIce and Soil2O™, both revolutionary water enhancing products, today announced that they have received new orders of Soil2O™ Dust Control from four California facilities for use in dust remediation. GelTech introduced Soil2O™ Dust Control in December 2010 as a solution to reduce water usage in rock pits and quarries.

The orders originated from clients located in Southern California where the product has been marketed. The majority of the order, however, came from a new client, one of the world's leading building materials suppliers, which has over 100 facilities in the United States. Both clients reported combined 2010 revenue of over $23 billion dollars.

Soil2O™ is an environmentally friendly potassium based product, which holds up to four hundred times its weight in water and slowly releases 95% of that water back into the ground. This technology helps water to evaporate at a much slower rate versus using water alone.

Michael Cordani, CEO of GelTech stated: "Gaining acceptance from some of the largest companies in the world speaks volumes for our company and our products. We are excited to work with such credible partners and look forward to rapidly expanding use of Soil2O™ Dust Control in the remainder of these clients' facilities, both domestically and internationally."

One plant supervisor of the new client stated that: "The use of Soil2O™ Dust Control immediately allowed us to reduce the need to water our facilities by up to 90% in areas." He added that, "reducing our need to use water will help cut our water costs, reduce wear and tear on our trucks and help us tremendously with the rising fuel prices."

Joseph Ingarra, President of GelTech, stated: "On the heels of our U.S. Forest Service QPL approval last week, we are extremely excited that our Soil2O™ Dust Control product continues to gain traction in the Southern California market. The adding of these types of clients demonstrates the value of our environmentally safe product." Mr. Ingarra added that, "we continue to demonstrate how we can save companies significant amounts of money as well as positively affect their environmental impact."

Peter Cordani, the inventor of Soil2O™, stated: "The continued acceptance of the products we create from some of the largest companies in the world encourages us to keep adding to our growing list of products being developed."

GelTech will be at the CONEXPO – CON/AGG in Las Vegas beginning March 22nd with one of our distributors, Tons Per Hour. CONEXPO-CON/AGG is the international gathering place for the construction industries. Held every three years, the expo showcases the latest equipment, products, services and technologies.
