Data Storage Corporation Appoints John Coghlan to Its Board of Directors


GARDEN CITY, NY--(Marketwire - March 29, 2011) - Data Storage Corporation (DSC), a provider of data protection and business continuity solutions, today announced the appointment of John Coghlan to its Board of Directors. With more than 30 years in the financial services industry and his experience serving on multiple boards, Mr. Coghlan is well-positioned to provide DSC with guidance on its investment and strategic growth initiatives.

Mr. Coghlan was a managing director with Lehman Brothers, a global investment bank based in New York City, for 27 years. He served in numerous management capacities in the firm's fixed income and prime brokerage divisions and was a member of both the firm's fixed income and equity division's management committees. In 2008, Mr. Coghlan joined Barclays Capital and worked in the prime broker division until the summer of 2010. He is also a past chairperson of the Bond Market Association's funding division.

He is a former board member of Lehman Brothers Bank and is currently on the board for Molloy College. He has also served on the boards of the Dorothy Rodbell Cohen Foundation for sarcoma research, the Friends of Mercy Hospital and the Rockville Centre 911 Fund.

Mr. Coghlan received an undergraduate degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 1978 as well as an Honorary Doctor of Laws in 2002. He also has earned his EdM from Harvard University.
