Brightpoint Announces Appointment of Charles Stewardson as Senior Vice President of Business Development Supply Chain Solutions, Europe, Middle East and Africa


INDIANAPOLIS, June 27, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:CELL), a global leader in providing supply chain solutions to the wireless industry, today announced that Charles Stewardson has been named to the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development Supply Chain Solutions, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Stewardson joins Brightpoint from DHL, a global market leader in the logistics industry, where he served as Vice President and Business Director, Telecoms. Prior to DHL, Mr. Stewardson held various leadership positions with AT&T, Compaq, and Unipart Technology Logistics. In his new role as Senior Vice President of Business Development Supply Chain Solutions, he will report directly to Anurag Gupta.
