The agreement enables the USDA's offices to begin replacing fax machines with EasyLink's cloud-based fax services, leveraging their already existing email infrastructure. EasyLink's fax service will allow the USDA to reduce operating costs by eliminating hardware, supply, and telecom line costs, increase productivity by sending and receiving fax transmissions from the desktop, and improve reliability with unlimited scalability, secure delivery, and detailed tracking reports.
Tactical Digital, EasyLink's government sales partner and GSA Schedule contract holder, is a small business concern that specializes in the sale of commercially available cloud computing services to federal, state and local governments as well as educational institutions.
