DigitalTown Announces NBA Champion Trent Tucker Joins the 3D Sports Tech Team

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - Oct 24, 2011) - DigitalTown, Inc. (OTCQB: DGTW) (PINKSHEETS: DGTW) 3D Sports Technology Inc. signed with NBA Champion Trent Tucker, to sign a long-term agreement to formalize Tucker's role as the company's Basketball Expert. 3D Sports Technology is a strategic partner working with DigitalTown and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association "NIAAA" to provide coaching tools to the over 20,000 high schools in the DigitalTown network of spirit websites. DigitalTown will distribute the tools to it more than 18,500 basketball teams on its sites.

Tucker brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and expertise to the sport of basketball. His accomplishments include winning a Big Ten Championship on his way to an 11-year NBA career. Drafted 6^th overall by the Knicks, the three-point shooter starred in New York for nine years, then a season with the San Antonio Spurs before joining his close friend, Michael Jordan, and the Chicago Bulls concluding with a 1993 World Championship Ring. Always a leader and philanthropist, Tucker's numerous off the court contributions include many children's charities such as All4KidsFoundation.org, Hoopology365.com and youth basketball camps.

Tucker joined 3D Sports Technology's team of experts in 2009, and now signed a long-term agreement to provide updates on the patented software and private intranet communication systems for basketball coaches.
