  • 5.9% increase in the U.S.
  • 2% reduction in the Fuel Surcharge index
  • Effective January 1, 2012

PLANTATION, Fla., Nov. 23, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DHL Express, the world's leading international express services provider, today announced a general average price increase of 5.9% for its U.S. export and import services, effective January 1, 2012. The general average rate increase will be partially offset by a 2% reduction in the Fuel Surcharge index.

DHL Express adjusts its prices annually, taking into account inflation and rising network costs of providing air express services in the 220 countries and territories that it serves. Customers should refer to their current DHL agreement to determine the impact of these changes.
