Oasis Systems Appoints Maggie Wetzell to Vice President of Contracts and Compliance


LEXINGTON, Mass., Nov. 28, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Oasis Systems, a leader in Information Technology and Services to the Department of Defense, announced today that it has appointed Maggie Wetzell as Vice President of Contracts and Compliance.

Tom Colatosti, Oasis President & CEO, said, "I am pleased to announce the promotion of Maggie Wetzell to Vice President of Contracts and Compliance. Maggie will be responsible for supporting all aspects of new proposal generation, including contracts, sub-contracts and pricing, as well as post award contract compliance. Maggie will report directly to me and will be a member of the Oasis Leadership Team."

Maggie is a retired Senior Executive, GS-15 with 38 years of experience in Contracting and Program Management with the Department of the Air Force and 7 years of Program Management/Contracting in the Private Sector. For the better part of Maggie's Air Force Career, she also was a Contracting Officer managing a 50-person squadron responsible for a $1.6 B acquisition program for the Electronic Systems Division at Hanscom AFB. Maggie's career continued after her retirement in the Private Sector as a Project Director where she ran a first of its kind Department of Defense Housing Privatization Project that included the designing and developing of a master-planned neighborhood located at Hanscom Air Force Base valued at $220 million. This role also included the responsibility as Property Management for the existing inventory of 850 homes. Maggie is known for her leadership skills and ability to secure the timely acquisition of critical systems, products, services, real property management/maintenance, and construction with the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and the State of Massachusetts. Maggie has earned numerous professional awards throughout her career to include the ESC Harold M. Wright Award, Distinguished Federal Manager, Boston Federal Executive Board, the AF Exemplary Civilian Service Medal, AFSC Outstanding Unit Award, Outstanding Acquisition Civilian Awards and a Project Director Award in the Private Sector. Maggie is certified at Contracting Acquisition Level III and has a Top Secret Clearance. Early in Maggie's career, she served as reservist in both the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Department of the Army.
