First Harrison Bank Donates to American Red Cross for Southern Indiana Tornado Relief


CORYDON, Ind., March 22, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Harrison Bank has donated $9,032 to the American Red Cross to support tornado relief efforts in Southern Indiana. The donation will help the Red Cross provide assistance to families affected by the devastating tornado outbreak of March 2, 2012.

"All of us at First Harrison Bank are deeply saddened by the events of March 2," said Sam Uhl, President of First Harrison Bank. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have been impacted by this tragedy, and we hope this donation will help them as they begin to rebuild."

Half of the donation was raised by First Harrison Bank employees. The bank matched that amount, bringing the total donation to $9,032.
