The financial services organisation operates 52 branches and 14 agency counters across Wales and neighbouring counties in England, and serves 500,000 members and customers. It will take advantage of Mitel's advanced co-location services for a reliable outsource solution that includes rack space, power, cooling, ongoing maintenance and security.
The purpose-built Mitel Data Centre in Caldicot, Wales, is manned 24 x 7 x 365 by a professional services team and escorted access is readily available for Principality's engineers at any time. Service Level Agreements (SLAs) include 24 x 7 monitoring, response and restorative services and the Data Centre security is maximised through 24 x 7 security and network operations centre teams.
Constructed with the environment in mind, the co-location centre also has Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), a low atmospheric lifetime (31-42 years), and is listed by the Environmental Protection Agency with no usage restrictions.
