"Skip" Schoenhals, Chairman of WSFS Bank and WSFS Financial Corporation, has been honored with the 2012 Muriel E. Gilman Award by The 21st Century Fund – a public, private partnership that addresses the special needs of at-risk children in the state of Delaware. Mr. Schoenhals was presented the award at a fundraiser on April 25, 2012.

The Muriel E. Gilman Award was established as a tribute to Ms. Gilman, a former 21st Century Fund board member, in acknowledgment of her commitment to community service and volunteerism. The award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the well-being of Delaware's children.
