APAC Customer Services, Inc. to Hire 500 in Davenport, Iowa

Expansion Coincides With Growth in Healthcare, Media, and Communications Market Segments


BANNOCKBURN, IL--(Marketwire - Sep 17, 2012) - APAC Customer Services, Inc., a leader in global outsourced services and solutions, announced today that it is planning to hire approximately 500 people in its Davenport, Iowa location. In tandem with an upcoming job fair, the site will also be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of an additional 5,800 square ft. of capacity to accommodate the growth. The job fair and ribbon cutting will take place on Monday, September 24, 2012 from 8:00AM to 7:00PM. The center is located at 250 E 90th Street, Davenport IA 52806.

The business expansion supports key market segments for leading global clients in the healthcare, media, and communications industries. The site is a flagship location for services currently performed in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals area. The Davenport operation was recently distinguished by a prestigious Stevie Award for back-office solutions tailored for multiple APAC clients.

The open positions are largely for customer service and technical support specialists. There are also management positions available for training, supervision, and quality assurance. The positions are full-time, with multiple shifts available during the hours of 4AM to 9PM, Monday-Friday, and weekends 5AM to 8PM. In addition, APAC offers eligible employees a complete benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and company paid life insurance.
