Plans to Hire Over 170 Employees Driven by Client Growth


BANNOCKBURN, IL--(Marketwire - Oct 18, 2012) - APAC Customer Services, Inc., a leader in global outsourced solutions, announced today that the company plans to hire over 170 employees in Utica, New York. The expansion is primarily a result of client growth in the Insurance, Media, and Telecommunications industries. In conjunction with the expansion, APAC will be holding a job fair on October 23, 2012.

The immediate positions for new employees in Utica cover all aspects of the customer support lifecycle, with a strong focus on inbound customer service and technical support, including IT Help Desk Support. Associates will be assisting customers representing some of the most recognized and respected brands in the world. Positions are also available for training and management support specialists.

All positions will receive customized training related to technical skills, company background, and product information. Upon completion of the full-time, eight-week training program, schedule flexibility will include full and part time shifts ranging in hours from 6 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. Comprehensive health (including dental and vision), a 401K program, and other benefits are offered to eligible employees.

The job fair is being conducted in coordination with the Utica City Hall and will be held in the Utica City Hall Building, Tuesday, October 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The address is 1 Kennedy Plaza, Utica, NY 13502.
