Co., Ltd., a leading provider of semiconductor test services for wireless communication devices, has purchased multiple PAx testers for volume production testing of RF components including multiband and multimode RF power amplifiers, advanced front end modules and 802.11ac devices. These testers will significantly expand Giga Solution's PAx capacity in order to support their growing customer base. The systems will be located at Giga Solution's factory in Hsinchu, Taiwan and will be used for high-volume, production test supporting several semiconductor companies located in both North America and Japan.
The PAx test system incorporates the latest in RF test technology and is ideally suited for testing a broad range of wireless/RF devices. PAx testers include a suite of tools to support testing a broad range of wireless communications standards including WLAN, WiMAX, LTE, CDMA, GSM, Edge, and WCDMA. With an installed base of approximately 100 systems, the PAx test system has advanced LTX-Credence's market leading position for testing RF front end devices.
