Vista Sees Revenues Surge, Increase in Interest for Thermal Gasifier

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - Mar 13, 2013) - Vista International Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: VVIT), a pioneer in efficient Waste-to-Energy technology, is pleased to give investors an update on revenue generated by the Company's tire division, as well as new developments with its Thermal Gasifier technology.

For the fourth quarter of 2012, revenues were up roughly 55% year over year, exceeding $175,000. These increases were mainly due to increased sales of processed tire material at the Company's tire processing facility in Hutchins, Texas. This trend continued in 2013 as January revenues rose roughly 75% year over year, and 30% sequentially. These revenue increases are particularly impressive since the winter months are traditionally a weaker time of year in the tire processing industry.

On the Waste-to-Energy side of the business, the company has seen a significant increase in interest for its proprietary Thermal Gasifier technology in recent months, in both domestic and foreign markets. CEO Tim Ruddy was encouraged by these events and issued some positive comments.
