MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Strengthens National Security Team

John Gorman Named Vice President, Maryland Operations and Business Development to Focus on Critical IC and Cyber Support at Fort Meade


DAYTON, Ohio, March 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company providing innovative engineering and technical solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that John Gorman has joined the company as Vice President, Maryland Operations and Business Development. Gorman will be responsible for increasing MacB's presence at Fort George G. Meade in Maryland. Specifically, he will focus on supporting clients at U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), National Security Agency (NSA), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), as well as the Fort's other Intelligence-related units. Gorman will report directly to Mark Chadason, Senior Vice President and General Manager of MacB's National Security Group (NSG).

Prior to joining MacB, Gorman was Vice President, Net Centric Computing Division at KEYW Corporation. At KEYW, he led business development efforts throughout the Intelligence Community (IC). Previous to his work at KEYW, Gorman was director of Cyber and Information Assurance at Northrop Grumman and rose to the level of Vice President of National Cyber Strategy at L-3 Communications.

Before embarking on his career as an operations and business development executive in the National Security community, Gorman launched several successful startups. His most recent company, Oleran Net Solutions, was acquired by MindShift Technologies in 2003. Gorman received his Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a BS in Finance from Siena College.
