PARIS, April 9, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mitel® (Nasdaq:MITL) (TSX:MNW), a leading provider of cloud and premises-based unified communications and collaboration (UCC) solutions, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with MGCE, one of France's biggest telecommunications distributors. With this agreement MGCE is certified to distribute Mitel's IP telephony and unified communications applications to its resellers, enhancing Mitel's ability to grow its addressable market in France.
The combination of MGCE's distribution power and brand name with Mitel's solutions ideally position both companies for growth.

In addition, the agreement opens up significant new French purchasing groups to Mitel.
