The Nomination Committee in Thin Film Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm") has proposed the following candidates for Board Members at the Annual General Meeting 8 May 2013 (reference is made to item 8 in the notice of Annual General Meeting in Thinfilm, issued and distributed 17 April 2013):
"Morten Opstad is re-elected as chairman of the board for a period of two years. Rita Glenne is re-elected for two years and Rolf Knut Lennart Åberg is re-elected for two years. Tor Mesøy and Preeti Mardia are elected as board members for a period of two years. Margareta Josefsson continues for the second year of her term"
The Nomination Committee thereby proposes two new candidates to the Board:
· Tor Mesøy: Tor has served as a management consultant for more than 25 years. He now heads up his own consulting company, but was formerly a partner with McKinsey & Company and with Accenture. Tor has extensive consulting and counseling experience from multiple sectors, including high-tech, telecommunications, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, public sector, energy, utilities, banking, insurance and oil & gas.
· Preeti Mardia: Preeti has diverse general management expertise across Electronics, Semi-conductors, Telecoms & Food Industry sectors. She is currently VP of Operations in Axxcss Wireless Ltd (Subsidiary of Moseley Group USA), where she is responsible for operational strategy and implementing supply chain for new disruptive 4G radio backhaul product portfolio.
