Marcia Wagner Welcomes Nationally Recognized Roberta Casper Watson to The Wagner Law Group


BOSTON, July 1, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marcia Wagner, the Managing Director of The Wagner Law Group, announces that Roberta Casper Watson, nationally recognized attorney and Harvard Law School graduate, has joined the firm and will be heading up the Welfare Benefits Department. "Roberta is a highly respected lawyer with years of experience in ERISA and employee benefits," says Ms. Wagner. "We are extremely fortunate to have her joining our team."

Ms. Watson will join Senior Associate Barry Newman, Associate Alex Olsen and Senior Benefits Consultant Virginia Peabody in the Welfare Benefits Department. Along with other health and welfare plan issues, she will be responsible for issues with the Affordable Care Act. "I am very impressed with the firm that Marcia Wagner has built," says Ms. Watson. She also was Chair of the ABA's Joint Committee on Employee Benefits. She is a Charter Fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. Ms. Watson is currently Secretary for The Harvard Club of the West Coast of Florida. She served on the CHIPRA Task Force created by the U.S. Departments of Labor and Health and Human Services. She was also on the board of Florida's District Six Community Health Purchasing Alliance in the 1990s. For many years, she was on the board of Northside Community Mental Health Center, and was its president in 1999-2001.
