WINDSOR, Conn., Nov. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SS&C Technologies (Nasdaq:SSNC), a global provider of financial services software and software-enabled services, today announced it has agreed to take on the lease of 8,600 square feet of new office space in downtown Evansville, Indiana, in addition to its current office location at Innovation Pointe.
The transaction will see the Windsor, Connecticut-headquartered technology firm taking up a total of 18,000 square feet between its two office locations, with an option to expand to a total of 24,000 square feet. The new office is located on 101 SE 3rd Street and SS&C takes possession of the space this month.
"This new lease consolidates our presence and accommodates future growth in the area. We've added approximately 100 employees since 2011 and our Evansville office services funds from all over the world," said Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. We intend to continue building a world class operation and the infrastructure necessary includes business amenities and recreational opportunities. The transaction is welcome news for the City of Evansville, where the Mayor of Evansville Lloyd Winnecke continues to attract businesses to invest in the revitalization project for downtown Evansville.

SS&C employs more than 4,000 employees worldwide with Evansville staff performing middle- and back-office functions as fund accounting and other operations. The deal for the additional Evansville office space will enable SS&C to ramp-up the hiring of new staff in the months to come.
