Vulcan's Subsidiary Reports Significant Salt Assays


ST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR--(Marketwired - Dec. 13, 2013) - Vulcan Minerals Inc. ("the Company" - "Vulcan") (TSX VENTURE:VUL) advises that its subsidiary Red Moon Potash Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RMK) has released significant salt assays from its 2013 potash/salt drilling program in Western Newfoundland. Vulcan owns approximately 60% of the shares of Red Moon Potash Inc. and a 3% royalty in the project lands.
